After Sunday's shoot Dawg and I went to M&M World and Hershey then had steaks with his parents then we went home and I asked him to tell me stories about his life before I knew him so he did.
And because there are so many links in this post I just target="_blank" 'd all the links. You are welcome.
Facts about yesterday: E is even more handsome in person. Bearette is even more gorgeous and youthful in person.
I got to meet the mysterious D! Woohoo!
I am quirky and weird in person.
I like to walk around and talk about people I've never met. Here are pictures!
Facts about today: Dawg made a cake for it (go see!).
I am getting up early to shop for it.
I am spending a lot of time cooking for it.
We will have special guests in our home.
We would have had moreguests in our home but realized we don't have a lot of room.
We will invite the other guests over another time. (We will!)
It's cold.
I'm itchy.
Adventures will be had.
The other day I was trying to explain to Pudding* why I blog. She kept asking me if it was so I could complain and people could subscribe to my complaints. Being the introspective person that I am, I couldn't just say, "no, of course not!" then explain in clear and concise words why I blog… cuz I don't actually know why I do. It's always changing, my reasons for why I write any given post are always different.
The point of writing this post is to say: It smells like bacon here. That is not a complaint.
*Pudding is Dawg's ex, mother of The Wolves. I know, it's hard to keep up. It gets easier if you live it.
The Chinese restaurant a few blocks down and over is also a Mexican restaurant. It was a Chinese restaurant first, but they decided to add a full Mexican menu. When you walk in you see two entirely separate menus, but you order both menus from one person. … So, that's what I do. I order Chinese and Mexican. Those don't sound like they go together, do they? You'd be surprised how awesome two hard shell chili tacos and an order of nachos go with spicy bean curd, fried rice, and scallion pancakes. NUM! Let's see what we could call this… Guó-Mex? Zhōngguó is Chinese for China. Zhōng means "middle," guó means "country". So, country-Mexican. Hmm. That works for me!
Today I am spending all day at The House emptying it of its contents with The Ex and The Movers so that it can be sold at 9:00am tomorrow with nothing inside it except the items that go with the house. Let it never be said again that I am lazy, as I think one or two of you might be able to attest to.
I will survive this day.
Oh, and, I totally just bought that Lactagen stuff. I've sufficiently annoyed the shit out of Dawg with my whining that I can't eat dairy anymore. So, Lactagen, my new friend, you better work. Cuz I'm not going the rest of my life without cheddar.
