George Lucas changed my life

I’m not even kidding. I love that man. If he created an official religion I’d be a part of it. (Did he do that? Crap.)

In addition to explaining his philosophy on Possession he also invited me to a party where I learned to love roller coasters. The man’s a genius. Seriously. And I cannot even explain to you all that I learned from this trip. But I can tell you there’s no one else I would have rather gone to SWCV with than Dawg. That was, hands down, the best vacation ever.

I wish I could pick the best out of the 641 photos I took so you wouldn’t have to look through them all to see what I saw, but I cannot do that. You need to go look at them all. So, here they are.

  3. OK, serious question then. Was that pic from the John Stewart interview? I started to watch it on io9, but the video was really crappy.

  4. Yes, we were in room 414 across the hall from 420 (really :) where Lucas was being interviewed by Stewart. So that’s why it’s a picture of the simulcast. People waited at the convention center all night to be in Chapin Hall with him. It was a truly amazing interview. I hope Star Wars Celebration has it, can’t imagine they wouldn’t record it and release it somehow. I have one video of a new deleted scene from one of the movies but haven’t uploaded it yet.

  7. I felt that exact same way… until Lucas made it all about how many toys he could sell when he unleashed “Return of the Jedi.” And don’t even get me started about the prequels… :-(
