How to use a pill gun with your pet

A lot of people have said they don’t understand the pill gun, so I made a video.

Thank you to everyone for your love and support. We really appreciate it.

Ripley isn’t any better so far today balancewise, but she’s completely there in her head mentally, and that makes me a very happy mama.

  1. First of all, I’m quite glad that Ripley seems to be recovering.

Beyond that, I now possess knowledge which I will never have any use for and am amused by the sliver of irony that lies in demonstrating pet care using an MLP while sitting in an ECW chair.

  2. Haaaaa! Bubblewench forwarded that to me in email form today! So happy Ripley does a lot better with a pill gun, because without one it’s WW III.

  3. Thanks for the video! It’s good to see that there’s another way out there to administer pills.

We’ve been very lucky and fortunate that Fyona is crazy about “pill pockets” — especially the salmon flavor. Since she takes pills twice daily, they’ve been a life saver.

  4. Ripley hates salmon. How ironic is that. Also, if I give her anything treat-like the other cats swarm and try to eat it, but if I try to hand-feed it to her she’s too wise and figures out I’m trying to slip her a mickey.

  5. lots of love and mending wishes from our camp. <3
    *one million cuddles for Ripley*

  6. Sending lots and lots of love and get-well vibes to Ripley. Poor baby. Poor you and Dawg for having to see your baby so out of sorts. :( XXOO

  7. I hate that she’s trapped in a body that isn’t doing what I know she wants it to. Poor baby. I hope it resolves soon.

Lots of love to you all. Please snorgle her extra muchly for me.

  8. I wish they had a pill gun when I was a teen, having to give the cats I grew up with their daily pills. That’s an amazing device.
