Dawg is working medical for a boxing event tonight after having done his overnight vollies and sleeping morning into early afternoon, so rather than wallow in self pity that I am the only human in the house who is up and/or here I decided to take up Robin‘s invitation to go see New Kids on the Block.
Get the eye rolls and guffaws outta yer damn system.
Ok, then.
I don’t actually care about NKOTB. I was originally supposed to see Robin for a wine day with her friends but that didn’t work out. And then I was maybe gonna see her and Rachel in NJ but it was too close to my VT trip to go away for an entire weekend and Rachel is busy. Why I’m explaining myself to you I’m not exactly sure, but it probably still has something to do with the Friendly’s waitress in Vermont trying to get me to change my mind from wanting the Western omelette without ham to wanting the vegetarian omelette without mushrooms (note to world: same resulting omelette when the ham or fungus is removed; I stuck to my guns and got the Western sans piglet). Anyway, Robin saw NKOTB Friday night by herself and wants to see the encore and wants me to not wallow in self pity so she’s taking me to bumbledork NJ (Holmdel looks lovely in Google maps) to see Jabbawockeez!!!!!!, Jesse McCartney (I’ll be listening to Black Eyed Peas on my iPod Touch during that part
, then watching Robin scream like a little girl when NKOTB arrives to the stage. More about the experience than what ingredients are in the experience.
Looking forward to a good time. And I probably will either make it home right as Dawg does or be home just a smidge after him, since boxing goes late, so no wallowing for me. And, honestly, I need to not wallow. I need to be fresh and happy and stuff like that and because I don’t want to be That Girl who watched her life pass by even though she has all these cool people around her and she’s pretty cool herself and there’s all this stuff to do… ya know?
I’m jealous
It’s going to be fun! We don’t wallow!!
Both my kids like (respect? dunno) Jesse McCartney. He’s definitely talented. Most of the kids on the Disney Channel and Nick are amazing.
HAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!! HHAHAHAAA!
