And now for something COMPLETELY different!

Wednesday I learned the details about something I will be doing on Friday which I can’t yet speak about because I don’t know if I’m allowed to yet. On the train home I was realizing something: This opportunity I have on Friday I never ever never never would have had if I was still back in Vermont. Things like what I will participate in just don’t happen in Vermont. There are far fewer chances for opportunities to come your way, less things to take part in, less offering to let you shine and be you and be proud of everyone who helped you be you.

So when I am at my super secret event on Friday I will be thinking of all of you who helped me through the hard times, helped me celebrate my good times, and when I can tell you what it is that I participated in I will definitely be telling you allllllll about it.

But maybe not till after the weekend, depending how late Friday goes, then Saturday (Dave YORK!), then Sunday (Easter celebration/Wrestlemania extravaGANZA!). I am exhausted just thinking about it.

  1. You are throwing out the first pitch at the new Yankee Stadium in their pre-season game against the Cubbies. Right?

    I know I’m right. Don’t bounce it!

  2. I love secret projects. Unless they keep me away from my family for long stretches of time.

I also like the backwards Starbucks layout.

(BTW, you should tell us – us using a reader – when you change layout. How many changes did I miss?) ;-)

  3. They didn’t orgies where you’re dressed up like Disney characters and eat mayo by the handfuls in Vermont?

  4. Wooohoooooooo! Have a fun weekend!
Sunday isn’t Easter, right? Please tell me it isn’t… no… I know it isn’t…
    Anyway, Happy Easter!

  5. Well, I *was* going to make up some silly story like me going to Reno during the weekend, and how I’m an ordained minister, and you guys were meeting there, and…

But I realized *noone* would believe me.
