I am so effing exhausted. It just hit me. Unfortunately I’m at work and just had a big lunch and there are severe thunderstorms until 7pm so I might need to take a nap here.
I’d just like to add one more thing to that link above. It is becoming very difficult to leave Dawg, and I’m really glad I won’t have to do that anymore very soon. I have my baseball bat all ready (ya know, for moral support…) for if our apartment application gets rejected. Backup plan: Camping out in the spare bedroom of Dawg’s parents’ home — air conditioning, home-cooked meals, a boyfriend for the girls (Kit Kat 
, and no flooding!

I have been quietly reading your blog for several months. I remember when you met Dawg at the airport for Cereal Wednesday. I thought then “they make a cute couple”
After spending several hours listening to blog radio and talk shoe I decided I had to get on the blogwagon.

Finn and Empanada, my asset situation (still have a house until Wednesday even though I don’t live there plus my name is still on two cars even though I’m only legally responsible for one) plus the fact that I’m in a different state with a job here-not-there makes me nervous for the application. Dawg has the benefit of established employment and residence in NYC for a long time, so hopefully that balances things out. Depends how picky they are. If they talk to my current landlords at all or go based on the fact that we have enough money to pay the rent every month then we’re a shoe in. :smiles:
