No, this did not just happen to me…

How weirded out would you be if you and someone who comments on your blog suddenly realized you know each other in your local life? Like…. they were that neighbor you hate but you think that person is awesome online?

Yah, that’d be weird.

  1. I’d say it’s a reason to try to get to know them better in real life and see if the online persona has always been there & you just missed it. Of course, if it turns out they’re only comprised of 10% awesomeness in real life for some reason, I’d probably go back to shunning them. :pfft:

  2. I would say that it would be weird at first but would now give you the opportunity to change your opinion about someone and make a new friend. And yes, I am Pollyanna. :loser:

  3. I’d say that I’m glad I don’t live in France, because I’d hate it if YOU were the neighbor I hate. :grins:

  4. Geekbot, I don’t have blinds.

    Sour, 100% in agreement.

    Mikey, an excellent point.

SmartFuckingAss Avi, I used to wonder about that all the time when I lived at the house. I was convinced the redheaded monster next door read my blog but was someone super sweet virtually.

Mo, I’m all for making friends as long as they understand I don’t want to hang out all the freaking time. I’d rather hang out in IM. PS – Hi!

Tug, and you’d be cold all the time. Don’t forget the COLD! UGH!!!
