I am creeped out by the freakishly smallness of the entire world

I did a completely random keyword search in Google for something I’d rather not admit to and found The Prettiest Denny’s Waitress. I was glancing through the front page posts and noticed a reference to the name “Noelle”. I know very few Noelles in the entire world and thought, “well, wouldn’t that be weird if it was the same Noelle that sometimes comments on my site?”

It was.

Freaky.

  1. I added him to my “I’m stalking you” list just a minute ago.

See, when I’m “new” to certain blogs I don’t pay attention to the chatter in the comments. And by new I mean 6 months to a year. So, really, I’m not paying attention in your comments or Aaron’s, and I wasn’t even regularly reading Noelle! She is now on my stalking list too.

  2. That’s funny, I’ve been stalking you! Then I moved into full-force comment mode. Then I went back to RSS lurking with the occasional hello. But yes, I highly recommend TPDW, he’s a fun read.

I actually know a person who is named Noelle in real life, and on the internet, she uses my real name. Good times!

  3. I appreciate your stalking of me so that we’d eventually meet back up again. I might be a silent lurker until April just cuz this month is nutssssss for me. But, I’ll be reading. And, again, the coincidences surrounding you are continuing to freak me out. Does that happen to you a lot?

  4. Kyra, and creepy.

    Maman, it’s been broken.

Dan, not even close to what I was googling, but now I’m curious why you were googling that…? :smiles:

  5. Aaron, :laughs: you crazy kids. Mickey’s blog really is quite spectacular. It’s on my regular reads list now. Too bad about ICW getting fired.

  6. Mickey has on occasion commented on my blog too. But mainly I think we’re both still in stalking mode. You should definitely step out of the shadows with Noelle, though. She’s good people. And I’ve met her in real life, so I know of what I speak. :-)
