I found this star game over at Wayne’s site and I am now slightly addicted to it.

Star Search for normal people, kinda sorta

Thankfully, I have already figured out a bunch of the levels so that I can perhaps pace myself throughout the next 100 years it will take me to figure out the ones I didn’t figure out in 5 seconds. That one on the top row, fifth from the left, with the girls turning? It’s pissing me off just a teeny tiny little.

  1. I found that over on Jester’s site last week. Took me 30 minutes to do all of them. :P

    The girls one is very simple once you figure it out.

  2. I can get the first girl to turn but not the others. The first time I got her to turn I was about to give up and then she bopped her butt around. I am not convinced I understand what I’m doing to get her to turn.

  4. I have been swirling my cursor around in circles for what seems like hours every time I visit that game and I can only get the first girl to turn. I think it might be a combination of my lack of patience and lack of hovering over the correct sweet spots? I dunno.

  6. :grins: Do this when you’re supposed to be working-at-work. And you know me well enough by now that my goal is to make everyone have fun instead of doing stupid stuff like work.

    I’ve decided to let my 13yr old have a go at it to see how “outside the box” she can think. She’s pretty good at that stuff already, so I think it’s awesome for increasing brainpower in kids.

  21. Did you get farther? I know Avi did them ALLLLL but I’m having trouble with stage 50 (3rd row, 3rd column) and don’t have any clue at all what I’m doing. I moved the moon! But, that didn’t seem to do a damn thing. :smiles:

  25. Popster, form a vertical line that runs straight down the middle of the third girl (on the right) and move the cursor up and down that line as fast as you can.

  27. ACW, someone told me how to do that one. Sigh. I would get these all eventually if I stopped telling people I can’t get them.

    Thankfully, This took me about 20 minutes to finish. :grins:

    And that is not me playing Guitar Hero, but everyone I know thinks it is. :shocked:

  32. I was reading Avi today, about his tips for blogging365, and maybe my once a week recurrent theme should be “People who look like me, but are not me”. I already have a few of those pictures… :confused:

    I promise I’ll make my own GH3 video soon. Then you could see the real me. :pfft:

  39. BPR, I did and I was going to post about it and the MILLION games that were up a level from this star game, but … I hate the first star game and I got caught up playing ZOOKEEPER. :grins:
