I have fallen in love with the cue card scene from Love Actually, which is ironic because I hate Keira Knightley.
But I’ll give her a free pass this one time.

Now do you know why I feel the way I do for this movie???
I actually love that movie! That scene rocks, too.
Why can’t guys in real life be as cute or inventive as they are in the movies?!
Maybe I should have dated screeenplay writers!
Dawg, I do get it now. I’m thinking of watching the movie again right now even though I have 10 borrowed or gifted movies waiting for me to watch them. … … … penser penser penser … yah, I’m probably going to need to watch it again in 3 minutes.
Sybil, guys in the movies are based on guys in real life, just usually conglomerates of several guys. Any guy I date will now be sat down in front of this DVD and told “this is what I like, thankyouverymuch.” :grins:
What is to dislike about Ms. Knightley… the fact that she is a walking bobble head doll who emotes with her mouth? Pshaw!
Maman, I know you are being sarcastic, but I want to seriously answer: She is too skinny. Bad example for us all. I love my curves.
It’s an awesome scene, and an awesome move, and I LOVE her, which is odd because I am totally a boob guy.
You’re a boob guy, Fab? I had no idea. This explains your extreme enjoyment of Avi’s Halloween party. Keira is quite charming in the film. Perhaps I like her better when she’s acting in English films.
I have the exact same feelings about that scene!
Stef, if someone did that to me I think I would start bawling on the spot out of appreciation for the sentiment.
