I think something is going on, and here’s why. Everyone I know is having the same problem starting over the last couple of years.
Notice that we now have the clinical strength deoderants on the market. I didn’t even know that there were prescription deoderants until my SIL told me that her doctor prescribed one for her.
I think that the bacteria on our bodies are becoming “immune” to the current deoderants that we use, and the bacteria are stronger because of that, thus necessitating stronger and stronger deoderants.
It’s no coincidence that clinical strength deoderants are on the market now. It’s not just you; everyone I know is having issues with their current deoderant.
I had to stop using secret a number of years ago because it “just stopped working”. Have you seen the price of the OTC clinical strength deods? OMG, they are ten bucks a piece!!
My deodorant works great! (I use man deodorant because all the womens deodorants weren’t working for me except one they stopped selling.) I think my shirt was somehow absorbing a strange odor that smelled like BO. When I added more deodorant the smell of my shirt changed to smell like dirty cat litter, which is waaaaaaay better than my own BO. (har)
What man deoderant do you use that doesn’t smell like guy? You know, that smell that they put into it that almost smells like cologne?
Old Spice Pure Sport plus my body chemistry smells sweet and feminine. Dunno why. :smiles:
