I got worried he was going to leave Dunder Mifflin after this, but D thinks Jim actually bonded with Michael at the end of the last episode (after the initial shock that they had more in common than Jim thought).
This show doesn’t follow the UK formula, which is a very good thing because when Tim (Jim) realized he was like David (Michael) he decided to leave the company. Granted, it was the end of the series so it didn’t impact the episodes, but I think I’d cry if Jim left. Like, real sobby tears.
