The cooking gas works just fine.
In other news, I just cleaned for 4.5 hours straight. My body is drained. My feet hurt. My mind is in shutdown mode.
I am seriously about to pass out. As soon as I shove this popcorn and juice into my body I will most assuredly be conversing with Squishy Dawg for the foreseeable future.

Aren’t the managers supposed to clean the empty apartment BEFORE you move in?
I think it’s disgusting that you’d have to clean for 4.5 hours before the place can become inhabitable.
I definitely would make note of that in a note with your first or second month’s rent.
Because IF you ever move? They owe you one. Big time.

Hola, … well, I didn’t have to do all that cleaning since everything looked pretty clean, but each Clorox wipe and rinse of the sponge and used paper towel told a very different story. And, technically, I have 1.5 Squishy Dawgs — one that I share with Dawg and one that is alllll mine (that’d be The Dawg).
Noelle, the juice was my reward? Or the nap? I did enjoy that juice…
Dawg, we’ll see if you feel it’s the light at the end of the tunnel when pretty much all we have at the apartment is a bed because all my stuff is still in Vermont. (NOT that only having a bed is a bad thing.
)
Mattie, surfaces looked clean, but it’s always best to do your own cleaning job after you move into a place.
