Can you keep a secret? I'm trying to organize a prison break. I'm looking for, like, an accomplice. We have to first get out of this bar, then the hotel, then the city, and then the country. Are you in, or are you out?
4 is also my favorite number!
Sesame Street gets all the good people, doesn’t it? I don’t really remember that as a kid, but I sure noticed when Gilda was older that they got great guests! Deniro? Sweet. Feist (isn’t that her singing 4?! Is that her name?) is awesome.
Thanks for the pingback, Poppy! You know, this song annoyed me to no end when it was featured for the iPod. But once I saw it on Sesame Street, I just love it muppet style. I even sing it to my one year old, and he dances along!
And you know, lots of musicians go on the show to perform, and they gladly alter their lyrics for the chance to dance with Elmo and Telly. Check out REM here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkHM8xG6i8o
My roommate and I hate this song. We heard it a billion times last year during the beginning of football season (we have the directv package, so all the same commercials will play)
It got to the point where we made up our own lyrics….
I love Feist, and that song! And this video is a little less weird than the one for the real version.
I think four is my second favorite number now. :) (Because 7 will always be number one for me…those two sentences sound really messed up…I can’t make a sentence without naming a bunch of numbers in it now….it is late, I need to sleep, lol)
I like the #4, too…..4 kids! And yes, I WAS flirting with you.
Hee, hee.
J.

Why is it that I could listen to this song over and over and over? I mean the real version. But with the muppets it’s just cooler.
If you like this, find the one of Neil Patrick Harris as the Shoe Fairy. Doogie got some pipes!
I loved this!
What always home and uncool said.
NPH (I totally heart him) singing about shoes (I love shoes) he is so cool.
This song is great…but I am gonna be humming it all day.

Hahahahahaha!

It got to the point where we made up our own lyrics….
“1..2..3…4..I am a dirty whore….”
It gets progressively worse from there.
I’m soooo going to send this to him. LOL
That is adorable! Ahhh…I miss Sesame Street. It beats the hell out of Gossip Girl
1,2,3,4… I love Sesame Street.
I, too, will be singing this all day. And I’ll be happy about it!
i’m not sure if i need to watch this at home or not.
might get stuck in my head like that what what in the butt song!

J, I KNEW IT!!!
Sybil, yes, that’s Feist. I happen to enjoy her live performance much better than the recorded-and-processed version of herself.
Lisa, everything’s cooler with Muppets!
AHaU, I didn’t quite get to watch that one yet. The Windows ‘74 computer forces me to be selective about my video viewing.
Janda, I’m glad you loved it!
Sparks of fiery emeralds, is it so bad to hum this song all day?
Pat, I loathe James Blunt, but I will get around to watching the REM one. I at least got as far as clicking the link!
NAT, a) I didn’t know you have a roommate — do I know him? ; b) that’s hilarious ; c) I love Feist, so WATCH IT, BUDDY.
Maman, Gossip Girl?!
Finn, I love Sesame Street too.
Hola, EARWORM.
BB, yes, the original video is very … uh, progressive. And freaky. And you were up later than I was, wow!
I love this. (Metalia posted it the other day, too.) Sesame Street continues to be one of the coolest shows on TV.
