Ramen noodles are the greatest food in the world. There are very few dinners that you can buy from change found under the couch cushions.
You know what goes great with Ramen Noodles? A bologna sandwich. No cheese, no mayo. Just bologna and two slices of bread. A meal fit for a King. Well, an aspiring King anyway.
Ramen noodles are great…..I love to eat them from the bowl with no fork or anything…..especially in the winter.
Misk and I used to cook huge amounts of them when we were first together and eat them straight from the pan because we had no bowls. It was terribly romantic, if you can imagine…*sigh*
I hope you and Dawg will enjoy ramen noodles together for a long time and yes the BNL reference was very fitting and cute.
Hilly… wait just a second… you’re not Dawg? EFF. I guess I better stop sending you “I LOVE YOU, POOKY” cards. If we ever get the chance to visit you we want a noodle tour.
Karl, thank you for appreciating my reference, even though Dawg hates BNL, which I found out last night on the phone. Heartbroken… (He also hates They Might Be Giants! )
Bucky, I am absolutely certain Dawg told me he likes bologna sandwiches, so we’ll definitely be having that combo meal for dinner sometime. Thanks for the suggestion!
Cissa, I hope to be eating noodles with Dawg for a lifetime, not just a long time. And eating out of the pan is very romantic.
Dawg, the ones I bought for you are the beef/red ones, but Natalie’s draw-er-ing was only available in chicken flavor.
Turnbaby, I just love to eat them straight up. Sometimes I add extra water to make them soupy, but mostly I just want those noodles. I add butter to make them EXTRA extra bad for me.
Sour, … where’s the seal?! You should totally make one to give to me now.
I’m not Dawg but…I work right down the street from the Maruchan plant and will forever now think of you when I smell their morning noodly goodness.
I love that you slipped a BNL reference in there.

HEY! That was supposed to be Kraft Dinner!
and I want Dijon Ketchup on my ramen
YUM!
You mean we can eat the chicken one?
I do prefer the red package though. I’m all about the beef.
Man I LOVE Ramen noodles. I used to be all about inventing new recipes.
I have a craving now
I love Ramen and the Barenaked Ladies. This post gets my seal of approval.
Maman, my blog, my rules. And NO DIJON.
Sybil, YES!
