What is the surprising part of that? The message to the prostitutes? That the prostitutes are literate? Or the entire thing is translated into Chinese?
It is truly a bizarre, “Only in America” kind of story
I think it’s really interesting that a Mexican restaurant posts a sign in English and (Chinese? Japanese? Korean?)…but not a word in Spanish other than the restaurant name and the signature. Wow, this sign really makes me wonder lots of things.
My thought on the matter: The food is sooo inauthentic that they know no Spanish-speaking people would bother setting foot in there. And it’s probably right in an area with a large Asian population. That’s simplified Chinese in blue, then traditional Chinese in red. And, btw, they are speaking specifically to FEMALE prostitutes, based on the characters used… So, if you’re a male prostitute apparently you’re welcome to stay!

Finally! Now I have somewhere to go where they’ll tell me once and for all if I’m a prostitute or not.

They don’t want the confusion of pink tacos in their Mexican restaurant? That was hilarious!
