Last night I was talking on the phone with Dawg* about how I might not post anything at all today to which he replied “Poppy CEDES” (he actually called me that) then lectured me about not posting. I thought that was adorable.
That was the tell portion. Here’s the show portion:
That’s my desktop photo.
Yes, I am fully aware that I’m a dork. Donut care.
*Anyone who recalls correctly knows that I hate the phone. I just find it awkward because I’m a very visual person and there’s nothing for me to look at while on the phone except things that distract me away from paying attention to the person I’m talking to. But… well, duh, for him I make an exception. And only for him.

You don’t like to be on the phone? Then who have I been paying $6.99 a minute to when I call 1-900-POPPYCE?
I love how the kitties always assume that they are the “star” of the picture.
So mothergrubbin’ cute.
I totally *heart* you guys.
That picture SO needs to be LOLcat’ed. You should do a caption contest. SRLSY
and is that a blogography shirt he’s wearing?
So which one of the kittys took the photo?
The composition of the shot makes me ponder deeply.
The cat is freaking me out!
In a good way. ;)
I’m exactly the same way about the phone! And I cannot express to you how much I love this photo. Everything about it (espesh Allie’s expresh!) is great! (Not to mention how talented Dawg must be to take it while looking so nonchalant about it.) If it didn’t seem weird & stalkerish, I’d probably have it as my desktop, too. I agree with Wayne, it needs to be LOLcatted.
Avi, your mother, I’m sure. (zing!)
Maman, Dawg was trying to take a photo of just him and Allie, I’m actually the one who shoved myself in there.
And you have no idea how happy I am that there is a photo of the two of them. Now all we need is for Georgie to join the club.
Mel, thanks.
Wah, I thought yesterday’s flirty photo was more LOLcats-ish (because of lack of people). Mikey did an awesome LOLcats version of that one. Besides, the only appropriate caption for that photo is “family photo”.
Yes, that is a Blogography shirt Dawg was wearing, but it’s MINE NOW! MUAHAHAHA! (Well, until this weekend, anyway.)
Geek, that’d be the kitty known as Dawg. And, really, he’s a pretty pony, please get your species correct. (*giggle*)
Creature, in what way? Elaborate!
BEE-bzzt, she’s very intense, and often not photographable, so I’m very happy to have one of her.
Sour, please notice with me the very most impressive part: Allie likes Dawg. She likes Dawg. She likes someone! Isn’t that insanity?! She hates everyone! She even purrs and gets wet-nose for him.
Cats *know* things so her approval of him speaks volumes.
If you’re taking requests, I’d like a family portrait of ALL of yooz guyz! *THAT* would be super-DUPER great and I bet it would be a whole bunch of fun trying to orchestrate!
I was surprised to see Allie up there next to him! That is a feat in itself! (She reminds me of Annabelle
)
Yeah, I think in the 3 years I’ve known you we’ve talked on the phone twice. I prefer IM anyway…
Well, as human happiness thrives as the scenary of the world, the feline expresses shock, maybe even desperation, resignation. What is it that the four-legged kind knows that the bipedal does not ? Is it the unbearable finality of each decision bringing us all closer to the abyss ? Is it the mortality of happiness ? Or could it be the onset of unstoppable diarrhea ?
We might never know.
Aww! I hate the phone too. Yet I like email (also non-visual). Hmm. Maybe it’s the urgent nature of the phone…you have to say something RIGHT THEN. it’s a lot of pressure :)
I never thought I’d see “bipedal” in a blog comment…but I guess there’s a first time for everything ;)
CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!
Is it bad that all I can think of is… what kind of donut???
Sour, that would be nice, wouldn’t it.
B, perhaps Annabelle’s good spirit has inhabited Allie.
Creature, actually… that’s Allie’s happy face. She was purring when Dawg took that photo.
Bearette, but email *is* visual! You’re at least staring at words that person wrote you or words you are writing to that person. Plus, yes, proofreading.
Sybil, I whole-heartedly agree: They are.
Dawg, strawberry frosted with orange and pink sprinkles. And no, not bad.
Aww, that’s no good. It’s not art when everybody’s happy !
That is hilarious…because the kitty is the only one looking at the camera, I can almost imagine that it is the one with the stretched out arm taking the photo…
Awww, you’re SO not a dork! That is so sweet! You are so cute together.
I’m totally not a phone person either, by the way.
Why does the cat look like he is screaming inside “RESCUE ME!”?
Dork!
Heh, I am glad I am not alone…
Your husband resembles my husband so much it’s almost uncanny. My Husband does not wear glasses though. And that cat? Hilarious.
Creature, you. are. fuss.
Mish, I think she’d rather be the photo taker than the photo subject.
BB, thanks.
Abs, purring. She was purring.
DB, we can be dorktastic together.
Blog Antagonist, *giggle* thanks.
You know what’s weird? That’s my desktop photo, too.
I find I’m much more willing to talk to them on Skype (or Yahoo! or Stickam… etc)… with the moving pictures and all… even if I don’t watch them… it’s much easier for me.
Fab, this does not surprise me. We’re a hot little fam.
Tori, meh. I did that for a while but honestly the only person I want to talk to is Dawg and he’s calling me from his cell. Seeing him on camera would proooobably just make me miss him way more than I already do.
Hi, Allie!
