Ohhh, the irony. I have never eaten mac & cheese from KFC because I am picky about my non-orange variety. If it’s supposed to taste like homemade mac & cheese it better damn well be really good. I personally make the best homemade mac & cheese on the planet, exactly on par with my maternal grandmother’s.
My home:
olive oil
butter
flour
red pepper powder
(sometimes black pepper)
skim milk plus half & half
a ton of extra sharp cheddar
swiss cheese to glue it together
farfalle or something more fun than elbows

Yum. I do enjoy the pasty cheesy goodness that is the mac & cheese at KFC…

Hmmm… my mother’s mac and cheese is made with Campbell’s cheddar cheese soup mixed in with drained macaroni….

OMG. No. No way. I would never touch any Kraft product unless my mom or someone I know made it.
Its too easy to use inferior by products instead of milk when mixing.
