Everywhere I have worked, save one place, they understand the need to keep people happy. They found that allowing people to surf safe sites, for reasonable periods of time, creates happy workers who get the job done.
I am so tired of corps hiring people to work 8-5 regardless of how much they get done. Hire someone to do a job. Make sure they do a good job. If they get their work done in five, let them go home. Let people have some power over their position. Of course, there are some jobs where you have to work specific periods of time, but it’s time for all corps to let professionals do their job; not sit around for 8 hours for the sake of being there.
Abs, as you can see from the post I just wrote dedicated to this comment, I agree whole-heartedly.
