This should surprise me a lot less than it does.

I am pretty sure this is going to cause a riot in the town I work in. Like, a big one. Because a lot of the busses were just converted over to biofuel to make the town “greener”. OOPS.

  3. Poppy Cede Says:

Plus, people in my town just like to riot. We’ve had several. I think it’s something to do with the water…

  4. Creature SH Says:

You appear to assume that this won’t be ignored in favor of the current dogma.

  5. Poppy Cede Says:

I am not following. What current dogma are you referring to?

  6. Creature SH Says:

By now, it’s been hammered into people’s heads that “Biofuel = Good”. Do you really think that they’re going to change that business plan just because it isn’t true ?

  7. Poppy Cede Says:

Depends how big the riot is.

  8. Creature SH Says:

The riot will be as big as the media makes it. The media will make it as big as the industry allows.

  9. Poppy Cede Says:

Tell that to the responders. (As in, police, fire, medical.)

We’ve had really big riots here, with and without media coverage.

  10. Creature SH Says:

Well, let me know how it plays out, okay ?

  11. Poppy Cede Says:

Definitely. It might take some time for the riot to happen because people around here don’t read and therefore are misinformed, but I’m guessing someone will tell them eventually.

  12. Creature SH Says:

We shall see. Thank you! :grins:

Remember in the 80′s all the celebrities were whining about saving the rainforests? Well the price of Palm Oil-based biofuel is so high now that rainforests are being destroyed in borneo and the cloud leopard is going extinct so farmers can plant palm trees to make biofuel.

All those rainforest celebrities like Sting? Where are they now on this issue? Dead Silent.
