A movie about venereal cetaceans?

The first five minutes of Cloverfield, out in theaters 1.18.2008:

According to FilmDrunk, the monster of the movie is “a whale with crabs”. If that’s really the monster then this is totally a rip-off of Gwoemul (USA: The Host), but in NYC instead of Korea.

No matter, I will go to see it. Who’s coming to France to sit through this with me?

    I can’t even tell enough from the picture what’s going on – nothing entices me to watch the preview other than you mentioned it.

    Is it worth watching the preview?

    Ummmmm. For you, Wah, I vote no. Don’t bother. I’ll recap it in a post after I see it then you can decide if you actually wanna see it or not.
