The time is not right.

We’re blaming Fabulous Me for this post. She wrote about how excited she was that her new store opens in ten days and then she randomly asked what we think of Drew Carey hosting The Price Is Right. Since I don’t have a TV right now I hadn’t seen him on the show yet so I hopped on over to YouTube and looked up “drew carey price is right” and found this clip:

…and now *I* hafta pee.

I love Drew, like a lot, so I’m happy he’s hosting the show.

Radio show reminder

Mr. Fab and I will be co-hosting this Sunday at 7:00pm Eastern on BlogTalkRadio. We are freestyling it because neither one of us likes scripting things, we just wanna see what flows, but we promise no awkward silences. (Are our promises for this actually any good? Hmm.)

Poppy on Fab's radio show

Call in if you like, the more the merrier. :grins:

Tools to re-affix my keyboard keys:

Tools to fix my keyboard keeeeeys

…which also double as serial killer tools for people pretending to be dentists.

The USB drive has the actual manual about how to use said tools with my MacBook Pro. I am giddy.

A review of sorts

I was going to see a movie on Monday night but the weather was kinda crappy and the restaurant I wanted to go to ahead of time isn’t open Mondays, so I went tonight instead. I saw the Coen brothers film No Country for Old Men. Observations that give nothing about it away:

  • It isn’t as bloody as I expected.
  • The weapon of choice for the bad guy is really freakin’ cool.
  • It didn’t end how I expected.
  • Our little Brand from Goonies is allllll growed up, and looking pretty hot.

If you like… oh, let’s say, maybe, Blood Simple then go see this film. If you don’t like the Coen brothers then I think you’re wasting your money because you know you won’t be happy.

I love the Coen brothers so I give it a solid B+ overall, with a partial grade deduction for all the yucky animal scenes put together, which I can always do without. (Ok, so that gives something away. Sorry.) I give myself an A+ for going to this movie alone even though I’d read it was kinda bloodfesty.
